‘Okika Ki’aha (Orchid Pitcher):

The cattleya orchid found in Hawaii originated in Brazil.  There are may colors and sizes of this popular orchid.

I have painted the relief cattleya orchids on this porcelain pitcher as pink blooming orchids.

Fired to cone 6 (2291 degrees) and finished with a clear, food-safe glaze.
